Eligibility for appearing in JEE (Main) –
2015
JEE Main 2015 Application process:
Candidates of JEE (Main) - 2015 have to apply online only. Application will start from November 7, 2014.
JEE Main 2015 Application Fees:
- The minimum academic qualification for appearing in JEE Mains 2015 is that the candidate must have passed in final examination of class XII or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination.
- Those appearing in class XII final or equivalent examination in 2015 may also appear in JEE Mains 2015 examination provisionally.
- Candidates must have passed 5 subjects in their Class XII. Not Applicable for students who have passed in 2013 or 2014 with four subjects.
- Candidates passed Class XII in 2012 or before are not eligible to appear in JEE Main examination. Only candidates passing in 2013/ 2014 or 2015 are eligible.
- Candidates’ date of birth should be on or after October 1, 1990 (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/PwD i.e 1985)
- Candidates can attempt JEE Main for a maximum of three times.
- Note: the criteria for the states of Maharashtra, Odisha and Gujarat will be as per their past practices.
JEE Main 2015 Application process:
Candidates of JEE (Main) - 2015 have to apply online only. Application will start from November 7, 2014.
- Fill the Application Form.
- Candidates had to upload their photographs, signature and the left thumb impression in JPEG format as specified. No documents had to be sent to the JEE Main office.
- Pay the Examination fee through credit/debit card or through e-Challan of Syndicate Bank/Canara Bank/ICICI Bank
- Download the Acknowledgement Receipt and safe keep it. DONOT send it to the JEE Main office.
