Paper-1 was relatively hard. This is also because each option in More than one correct Q needed to be checked. And, This year More than one correct Qs were more than that in previous year.
Paper-2 was relatively good and relieving. With comparison to previous year, Phy and Maths paper was relatively tough, while Che was almost comparable.
Cut-Off - For counselling, the aggregate required is as follows-
Candidates of general category must score at least 10% in each subject and 35% in aggregate in
order to be in the common merit list.
Candidates of OBC (NCL) category must score at least 9% in each subject and 31.5%
in aggregate in order to be in the OBC (NCL) merit list.
Candidates of SC and ST categories must score at least 5% in each subject and 17.5%
in aggregate in order to be in their respective merit lists.
As for seat allotment, the cutoff was
General - 156,
OBC - 113,
SC/ST - 63 in 2013.
And in 2014, the cutoff, as expected by resonance is-
General - 150-160,
OBC - 110-120,
SC/ST - 60-65.
For Top Ranks, marks scored by various rankers in 2013 were,
AIR 1 - 332,
AIR 10 - 308,
AIR 100 - 275,
AIR 500 - 240,
AIR 1000 - 221
This year too, almost same range is expected for such marks.
