RIP Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam

Must Read Story of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam

An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his class on the problem science has with God, The Almighty.

He asks one of his new students to stand and…..

Prof: So you believe in God?

Student: Absolutely, sir.

Prof: Is God good?

Student: Sure.

Prof: Is God all-powerful?

Student: Yes..

Prof: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn’t. How is this God good then? Hmm?

JEE Advanced 2015: Toughest Paper for last 10 Years

The JEE Advanced 2015 paper was the toughest paper since the IIT JEE Paper of 2005 and tougher when compared with even the subjective papers of previous years.

The most coveted institute, IIT Bombay has indeed proved itself by setting a new standard to the JEE Advanced paper. It ensured that the changed objective pattern too can be employed to extract the best and most genuine cream of the IIT aspirants.

This time the total mark was a whopping wholesome of 504 (264 + 240) with a total of 120 questions (60 + 60). It is so clear that the paper had been lengthy.

Overall Review

  1. This time the paper was so designed to test the students' tricky problem solving skills, time managing attributes which includes the not-losing-confidence trait, and also their memory to a certain extent. The sustainers of this great feat by IIT Bombay, do have the IIT factor in them.
  2. The main drawbacks of the paper in the perspective of the students would be that the paper was lengthy as it did contain some tough and time consuming problems and the highly devastating format due to the heavy negative markings.

Dropping a Year

70% students waste their one or two year in preparation after 12th board. But there are a lot of guys ( freshers) also who immediately take admission in engineering after 12th and get frustrated after watching their college's status, lab facilities , poor campus options, boring campus environment. They just find them in hell.

However there are some 15 to 20% guys who don't compromise with their expectations and aim. They drop a year , prepare for JEE... Some clear JEE and others get good colleges like BITS and TOP NIT's.

So, this is just your choice. Dropping a year is not a bad option,

OH SHIT!!! Tomorrow is JEE-Advanced : learonedutech.wordpress.com

Tomorrow is “the day” of all the days. It’s the day that will decide your destiny.
There are few things that you should restrain.

A DAY BEFORE YOUR EXAM:

You have prepared almost a year for this day. You have learnt loads of topics and concepts but there is a sure probability that some of the topics are still untouched. Do not even think of hammering those NEW topics now. It won’t do any good to you. Half knowledge is dangerous and it will only add to your confusion. It’s better to go blank on some topics than devoting unnecessary time to them. Believe in yourself and your preparation. If you still think you are under prepared, skim through prepared topics to polish your concepts. (Please Read. DO NOT CRAM)
